Privacy Policy

1. This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Use and the User agrees that he or she has read and understands and agrees to be bound by this Privacy Policy by accepting the Terms and Conditions of Use and/or use/access to any of Intereler Translations’s Contents/services on the Platform.
2. This Privacy Policy contains terms of use, disclosure and accumulation of User information.
3. The user will provide certain information (including but not limited to name, surname, email). Intereler Translations takes the necessary measures to protect the referred information; it does not sell or market the referred information; it only uses it in the manner specified in this document. Furthermore, Intereler Translations will not provide the guarantee for the protection of such information against unauthorized use or disclosure. Users are obligated to protect and maintain their personal information confidential. Intereler Translations shall not be liable for any damages, losses, costs or adverse results in connection with such unauthorized use or disclosure.
4. User profile, language skills and/or username are displayed to facilitate User interaction and to manage Intereler Translations services. Except for inviting friends and certain notification, a User’s email address is not shared/shown.
5. Users may communicate with each other regarding translation services through the comments section on the platform, without disclosing their contact information (including but not limited to phone number, Google Talk, MSN Messenger)
6. Since any information collected / shared on the Platform becomes “public information”, Users should be careful about releasing their personal information.
7. Intereler Translations may share Client Materials with potential Translators, for the sole purpose of allowing them to preview the content in order to decide whether to cover the translation order. In this regard, Users are solely responsible for editing or removing any confidential or personally identifiable information in Client Materials if Users do not wish to disclose such information.
8. Intereler Translations may store and retain User information, including personal information in connection with services provided in the Platform. Saved information will not normally be deleted, even if a user deletes their account. However, Intereler Translations does not assume any obligation and guarantee to archive / save the information referred to and does not guarantee that the information referred to will subsequently be made available to the respective User.
9. Users’ personal information may be used for advertising, marketing, improvement / enhancement / operation of services, research, statistical analysis, auditing and for any other communication activity.
10. Intereler Translations may not share the User’s information with third parties, except in the following cases:

Intereler Translations may share the User’s information:

– with the Translators to provide translation services,

– in accordance with the legal requests of the courts and other legal authorities,

– in order to comply with the law or to protect your rights / interests / property / services / Platform,

– if Intereler Translations assigns or transfers its rights, guarantees or obligations to any third party,

– which does not refer to individually identifiable Users, for the purposes set out in point 9.

11. After notification and written consent from the User, Intereler Translations and/or other third parties who have a contractual relationship with Intereler Translations, may be informed and introduced to new services, promotions, campaigns or similar matters for advertising and information purposes via SMS and/or e-mail or any other communication tool, in relation to the Platform and its contents/services. If the User does not give his/her consent to the above-mentioned notifications, the User may inform Intereler Translations accordingly of his/her request to abandon his/her assigned membership for advertising and information purposes on the Platform. On the other hand, Intereler Translations reserves the right to notify Users in relation to service announcements, service management.
12. For any matter not specified here, the Terms and Conditions of Use shall apply.
